Hot off the press! This is “Skating in the Dark” – so brand new, we were still reading off lyric sheets when we premiered it at our In The Rough gig (Lori Brigantino, Susan Haefner and I) at the Old Parish Church in Weston, VT back in January.  I wrote the song about fond memories of ice skating on cold winter nights on the pond behind our house when Lori and I were kids growing up in Katonah, NY.  Props to my friend Poet Miranda Beeson who encouraged me to write this song after I told her stories about skating at night.
